Remember when I prepared and recited a story for Porchlight SF‘s storytelling series? I also participated in an open mic night! Here’s what I wore:
The photo is a bit dark, but I think you can see everything you need to see. Most important were:
- The jacket: I rarely ever wear it, and before trying to sell it I wanted to see if I could make it work. I did! But I haven’t worn it since then.
- The shoes: a recent purchase, a friend counseled me against them saying they were too crazy. So of course I had to get them!
iPhoto tells me I haven’t uploaded a photo since April 26th, and a glance at my archives reminds me that I’ve barely done any blogging this month (although it’s not like I forget). I’m dearly looking forward to Memorial Day weekend as a time to wind down from my recent busyness, and then catch up with the blog. I don’t think I’ll be able to catch my breath before then!
