This was my patriotic outfit. Apparently all the red things that I own are too dramatic for a day spent at BBQs and outdoor concerts, but I managed to squeeze in red lipstick and earrings. And of course, my birthday candle necklace. It is America’s birthday, after all!
I am also happy to report that my cupcakes came out exactly as I intended! Super festive, and incredibly tasty. I had a true Martha moment.
