While I’ve been in sunny and summery NYC over the long weekend, when I left San Francisco the weather was decidedly fall. Grey, chilly, wet. The Indian Summer that we usually get made a quick appearance then faded into the fog. So for dinner with friends I decided to register my protest and bring my own summer.
