Take A Hike In These Heels

Something significant happened during my trip to Chicago: I became a woman who wears heels in the airport.

This is huge! Ever since college I’ve relied on public transportation to get to and from the airport, and I’ve always envied the women shimmying through the airport in heels. What glamorous lives they must have. Surely they were dropped off in a car, and one would be there to pick them up and whisk them away to their final destination. I could never imagine navigating bumpy sidewalks, stairs, and possibly even dashing for the train while elevated a few inches off the ground AND lugging luggage.

But now I know their secret – or at least, I have my own: the J. Crew Sardinia Wedge Espadrilles. They’re so perfect it’s ridiculous. Chic, comfortable, and extremely capable, these are my new go-to shoes for, well, everything!

They look comfy enough to do just that. I recently bought a pair of Anne Klein wedges that are like a regular embellished thong shoe on top, but the bottom is Anne Klein Sport and it has the support of a sneaker. I think this is genius! I have a job where I’m ripping and running most of the day and I was able to wear these all day long. I want to find them in more colors.

Did you size up/down or get your regular size in the shoes?
    Thanks!

These shoes came in whole sizes only, and sometimes I wear a half so I sized up.
