It was actually a windy evening and my dress was billowing quite beautifully in the wind, but these photos were taken in a wind-protected nook at the de Young Museum, so you just have to use your imagination.
The preview itself was incredible. I am always floored when I see what beautiful apparel is made from people’s tossed out clothing. I wasn’t sure if I was going to bid on anything this year, but after seeing the selection there are a couple of pieces I might end up fighting for.
