Half the fun of going out is getting dressed for it.
Sometimes I find that most of the fun of going out is getting dressed for it. Especially on New Year’s Eve. Is it just me, or is that night really hyped up?! Every year I feel like my plans aren’t exciting enough, and inevitably I’m disappointed when I do something that would probably be sufficient any other weekend. This year I almost gave up. I was ready to stay at home with a rented movie and call it a night. But I didn’t.
A friend convinced me to go to a party with him, and I’m so glad I did. I had the best New Year’s Eve ever. EVER.
It was the perfect combination of great friends and new faces; as much time spent in silly conversation as getting down on the dance floor (and still getting silly).
