This past weekend I went to a wedding at a summer cottage on a lake in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Not just a wedding – a long weekend full of being outside and in the water. I gloriously spent most of the weekend in a bathing suit. After an afternoon of waterskiing my friend (the bride) insisted that eating dinner with the family called for nothing more than a towel and dry feet. An hour before the wedding ceremony I was still barefoot, dashing around outside in my fancy dress. But when the time came I made sure to clean up nicely.
