I recently made a new friend who is a painter, and also a connoisseur of vintage clothing and expensive handbags. Lately she’s been schooling me in the fine art of purchasing purses over eBay. We decided to get together for a bit of vintage shopping and a photo shoot in nearby Clarion Alley. Living just a few blocks from this alley full of murals, I had no idea it was actually a big deal – until some friends visiting from NYC mentioned it was high on their to-see list! We started making plans to do more daytime shoots there – and then I got a job! Not a bad alternative, eh? Speaking of which, today is my first day – wish me luck!
