{What Emily Wore} Bachelorette Week 7

Who thinks Emily sent John home because of what Chris said, and who thinks he was going home anyway? I think he was always going home. They just didn’t seem to have much of a relationship. John thought that revealing things about himself meant their relationship had progressed, but to me that seems like a narrow understanding of what a relationship requires. This entire episode was instructive about relationships. Chris becoming unhinged seemed extreme in the context of so many confident guys, but in real life that happens all the time when people like someone and don’t know where they stand. Some friends were just talking about this with me the other day. Regardless of if the person you’re seeing is just dating you or 5 other people, it’s tough to not know where you stand. So my heart went out to Chris… but he still reminds me too much of someone I know and don’t like.

On to the clothes! I love, love, loved Emily’s first outfit: beige blouse, white blazer, sequin tap shorts. That is Emily at her most chic, stylish, and risky! But it definitely paid off.

Get Emily’s look with white Jil Sander shorts ($188), a romantic Paul & Joe Sister blouse ($128), and a cropped, white, Just Cavalli blazer ($248).

The other thing I loved was this great, green, statement ring Emily wore. Although after she dumped Doug she had a new outfit, which was weird.

Try a green Isharya statement ring ($140), a sparkly, green, iguana ring from Kenneth Jay Lane ($67.50), or an edgy green ring from Pamela Love ($465).

What did you think of the episode? Who do you think will be the final 2, and the final man that Emily chooses? I predict Arie and Jef for the top 2, and Arie for being the one that proposes.
