This weekend I have a high school friend visiting – it’s crazy to be at an age where I’ve known someone for over a decade! Whenever anyone comes from out of town I love to take them to wine country. Especially since she once went wine tasting in New York City – which anyone out here will tell you isn’t wine tasting at all. No vineyard? No deal. What’s more, this weekend is the Sonoma Lavender Festival! So I can’t think of a reason not to head up north. And what do you need for a day of wine tasting? Karen Walker sunglasses, because it’s always nicer up there; a Lulu Frost cocktail ring, which will catch everyone’s eye when you raise your glass; and a Michael Kors watch, so you can keep time and make sure to hit every winery on the list.
