{What Emily Wore} Bachelorette Week 5

What a week on the Bachelorette! I had been wondering why the producers had been quiet with Kalon for a few episodes… turns out they were waiting to give him the ultimate jerk edit. I mean, he’s obviously a huge jerk without the help of the producers, but I’m guessing that they hoarded footage in order to make the extent of his jerkdom a big reveal. Was anyone else disappointed that Emily started to really like Ryan this week? She seemed surprised about that herself. Travis also started to emerge more this episode, and I’m glad Jef finally got a 1:1. I felt so bad for him when with the London Eye ride was over and he didn’t get to kiss Emily! But I felt relieved that he recovered by the end of the date.

Emily wore some cool stuff on her dates this week – including a bevy of trenchcoats in London. How appropriate! I wonder if any of them were Burberry. I also liked how she paired them with printed scarves, because that’s a great way to add visual interest to a classic trench.

You can’t go wrong with a trench coat and a fun printed scarf.

Keeping with the scarf trend, she chose to wear a pashmina instead of a jacket for her 1:1 with Sean. If you find a nice pashmina sometimes they can truly be warmer than jackets, and it may be easier to find a pashmina that goes with your evening dress, instead of a jacket.

This jacket would go great with that dress. Maybe next time!

How fitting that Emily wore a studded dress for her stand-off with Kalon! It was the perfect outfit for telling someone to f*** off. Especially with the dress in white, it was mostly sweet with a bit of an edge – which is how Sean described her right before the rose ceremony.

Try a simple white dress, then add some edge with a claw ring.

What did you think of this week’s episode? The teaser shows drama with the guys again next week – who do you think will be in the hot seat?
