This, the last day of my shopping cleanse

After 3 months of not buying a single piece of clothing, I’m pretty excited to go shopping. In a few weeks I’ll be in the shopping mecca of NYC so I don’t want to completely go buck-wild with shopping this weekend, but there are two things I’ve had my eye on for quite some time so if my sizes are still available tomorrow, they’re going to be mine!

Antik Batik tunic from the Outnet. I generally try to stay away from crewnecks (crewnecks + super short hair is not a flattering combination), but this one is so embellished that it’s almost trompe l’oeil – the eye is drawn to the scoop-neck that the embellishment forms. I can’t wait to wear this with skinny jeans or leggings, embellished sandals, bangles on my wrist and some cool sunglasses.

Kova & T lace bell bottoms from Shopbop. Yes, lace bell bottoms. I’m not entirely sure what I’d wear them with, but I’ve secretly been drooling over them for at least 3 months. I’m thinking maybe a fluid jersey tee with embellished sandals. Unfortunately the 34″ inseam isn’t long enough for me to wear any sort of heel, but that does not dampen my enthusiasm! I like the idea of keeping these pants in casual, day wear territory. One more day and these babies will be mine!
