Dress – Acne (similar-ish fringed dress) // Sandals – Alexander Wang // Bag – Basil Racuk
With everything going on with moving and starting graduate school, I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to make it to any fashion shows this year, but luckily I will. The BCBG Max Azria show today was oddly calming. It was in such a huge room in Lincoln Center with so many people – seats on the runway too! The music they played was so calm, the models walked so slowly, and the colors were mostly pink and white. After rushing to make it to the show on time, it took me down a notch, in a good way.
I was rushing because I woke up early (as I usually do), but wasted the morning not thinking about what I actually needed to do that day (that happens a lot). Thankfully fashion shows never start on time, and even though I was 15 minutes late I still had a few minutes to sit before the show started.
One other thing: I have the sweetest neighbors! Er, photo bombs notwithstanding. These guys were really friendly and stopped to say hello and welcome me to the neighborhood (Windsor Terrace). A handful of people around my block have stopped me and said “oh, you must be the new tenant!” Everybody has been incredibly welcoming (except for one guy who is super possessive of a shared driveway), and it makes me really happy that I found this place.
What's your opinion?
