For those of you who don’t live in a city where one week out of the year you can find parking and there’s no wait at restaurants, this weekend marks the start of Burning Man (give or take a few days). I read an interesting piece in a local magazine about common misconceptions of Burning Man, but I think anyone who knows anything about the playa can agree that unconventional dress is in order. Like a ring that is essentially a pig’s butt, blinged out cat ears on your headband, or glitter nailpolish that is a party in a jar.
