{What Emily Wore} Top 7 Moments of the Men Tell All

I finally caught up on this week’s Bachelorette episode. Just like this was my favorite season of the Bachelorette, this was my favorite Men Tell All episode.

Top 7 moments

  1. Emily’s wine blooper: Who doesn’t love a girl who spills wine on herself and then gets bleeped out? And a girl who likes her dress more than her date. We’ve all been there.
  2. Bachelor Pad promo: One of Ben F.’s rejects on the inclusion of fans: “You didn’t earn your place – you haven’t been dumped on national television yet.” Touché. Also, I hate to admit it, but I’m actually tempted to watch this season of Bachelor Pad…
  3. John (Wolf) putting Kalon in his place: “Coming in on a helicopter you put yourself behind the eight ball.” I don’t even know what that means, but I can tell it was a zinger!
  4. Best reaction shot: Kalon says “I’m good friends with Chris and Tony…” Then camera cuts to Tony looking down at his feet.
  5. Chris vs Sean: In his turn on the hot seat Chris came across as sooooo disingenuous to me! He goes on about how he really did love Emily then he’s like hey – watch me on Bachelor Pad! Meanwhile Sean basically admits that he’s not over Emily. Which one sounds more real to you?
  6. Thank you for opening my eyes”: this phrase got several moments throughout the show. Second only to “here for the right reasons”. Can the producers/script writers please come up with some new lingo?
  7. Emily’s tête-à-tête with Kalon: Oh man, so good. That lady can really hold her own! Best line: “I hope you find faith in something bigger than your Prada shoes and rented helicopter.” Ouch!

Emily was one hot mama in that hot pink bandage dress! She looked the best that she had all season – and she had lot of great looking moments. In this respect, less is more. She kept her hair in a basic blow-out (with clip-in hair extensions, no doubt), wore nude heels and a single emerald on her finger.

To get this hot (pink) look try a straight-up  bandage dress by Hervé Leger, a more work-appropriate style by Michael Kors or Black Halo, or a more casual one by Nanette Lepore or Madewell.

What were your favorite moments of the Men Tell All episode, and what do you predict will happen in the finale? It looks like she might not choose anyone, but I think that’s just a sly edit. ABC wouldn’t let there not be a winner! I’m going out of town this weekend, however, so I’m going to miss what Chris Harrison has billed as “the live television event of the summer”. But you can bet I’ll catch up on Monday, and I can’t wait to dish about the season finale of the Bachelorette.

PS: last week a reader had a question about finding an open back sweater. I found 3 potential options: from Vince, Girl. By Band of Outsiders, and Nightcap Clothing. Let me know what you think!
