This morning I got to attend a media preview of the Cindy Sherman retrospective that opens at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art this Saturday. I wanted to look professional, but still arty. This was also an important test drive of a new pencil skirt. See, I’ve been looking for a job and interviews are finally happening. I realized, however, that the only things I have to wear for an interview are a shirt and skirt I bought in high school! Luckily for me, J. Crew is having a great sale (and 30% off mark-downs), so I managed to get two (2!) pencil skirts for like, $65. I was so proud of myself. But also clueless. I needed the saleslady to tell me how it was supposed to fit, how high/low to wear it, etc. I think I’m beginning to crack the code.
Skirt – J. Crew; sweater as top – Anthropologie; booties – Ash; belt – Anthropologie; sunglasses – Chanel; rings – Azil, Therapy; necklaces – c/o Love & Luxe, bought in Morocco.
Come back tomorrow to hear about the Cindy Sherman retrospective at the SFMOMA.
