My week 7 prediction came true – Arie and Jef are in the top 2! I thought it was interesting that both Arie and Jef spoke along the lines of if Emily chose them, while Sean was convinced that he would marry her. Poor guy had no idea what was coming. I get that you need to have confidence for something like this, but you can’t have 3 dudes all convinced they’re going to marry the same woman. Unless ABC plans to go the Big Love/Sister Wives route (ie, venturing into polygamy), only one of the guys is going to end up with Emily. But wouldn’t that be a crazy reality mash-up?!
Per usual, I loved most of what Emily wore, and she had incredibly rad accessories to boot.
Remember last week’s cool sweater? This ASOS clutch combines the best of that sweater and the above tote.
I’m normally not one for the kissing close-ups (gross, right? I do NOT need to see people’s tongues…), but this one provided a great shot of her amazing statement ring. Try this turquoise stunner from Alexis Bittar, or switch it up a bit with an agate slice ring from Charles Albert.
All during her pre-rose ceremony talk with Chris – and during the ceremony itself – I was fixated on her hawk (eagle?) necklace. Try a daintier Mathias Chaize pendant, or a statement necklace from Noir Jewelry.
This dress was amazeballs. That is all. Both this ModCloth dress and this Anthropologie skirt are reminiscent of what she wore, but I’m not gonna lie, that dress is in a league of its own.
Did Jenna Lyons style this? Because I feel like I saw the ribbed tank top/sequin skirt combo like, 5 catalogs ago. Not that I don’t like it. I love it – especially the chiffon trim on the skirt. Especially during the summer, try pairing a casual top with a sequin skirt from Anthropologie or Sonia Rykiel, or a Miguelina maxi skirt for dramatic effect.
Now that we know who’s in the top 2, who do you think will get the final rose? For most of the season I’ve been pulling for Arie, but after this last episode… I’m going to call it for Jef!
