Outfit: Not Made For Walking

There was a bit of irony involved in this outfit, which I recently wore to meet a friend for lunch. See, we normally go walking together. In fact, 95% of the time I have spent with her over the past 8 months, has been taking long walks. I was acutely aware of the fact that the shoes I chose that day were decidedly not for walking. In fact, they were barely good for hobbling a couple of blocks down, and back. And yet, I cannot bring myself to get rid of them. I just wear them when I know I won’t need to be on my feet.

Also, it was an incredibly windy day!

Dress (as top) – RVCA; skirt – Missoni for Target; shoes – Loeffler Randall; bag – Ann Taylor; bracelets – Bloomingdale’s, gift from India; necklace – vintage.

Oh but those shoes are too good to get rid of! Who needs to be able to walk? 😉
