Outfit: Mixing Up A Classic

There’s a soft spot in my heart for Converse All-Stars. They were always cool growing up, but they took on a special importance for me during the year I lived in Tokyo. They seemed to be the only shoes in the entire country large enough for my Western-sized feet. So I bought some Chucks and wore them with nearly everything. I don’t know of any other sneaker that goes so well with dresses; but All-Stars are so iconic, they do.

Outfit 1: Top – T by Alexander Want; pants – Anthropologie; sneakers – Converse; sunglasses – free; bag – vintage from Tokyo; earrings – Jessica Elliott, bangles – Amrita Singh, necklace – Lauren Wimmer; pyrite ring – Luv A.J.; other ring – Azil.
Outfit 2: Dress – Banana Republic; shirt – Gap; sneakers – c/o Converse; necklace – Stella & Dot.

Checkerboard Vans are the sneakers that will always be cool to me. I’ve worn them for so long! Both outfits are adorable but those printed pants seem to have stolen my heart!
