Announcing the San Francisco Fashion Film Festival!

I am thrilled to to report that on Monday we officially launched the San Francisco Fashion Film Festival (FashFilmFest for short) – a project I have been working on since August with two fellow style bloggers (and friends), Annie and Kim.

There has been a lot of work done already – and so much more to come! – but one of the things we’ve worked the hardest on AND had the most fun with was our Kickstarter video. We found really great videographers, and even though we were on set for 11 hours on Black Friday (11 hours!) we all had a really good time. Here is some behind-the-scenes footage from our all-day shoot:

The team, Tony and Eric.

Eric worked the camera and Tony worked the sound. The muffler on Tony’s recorder reminded me of this 3.1 Phillip Lim bracelet.

I set up a tension rod for to us to have a wardrobe area (à la Rachel Zoe). Unfortunately the rod wasn’t very strong so we had to remove most of the clothing.

And voilà – the final product!

Head over to my Tumblr for an exclusive behind-the-scenes video, and don’t forget to check out the entire Kickstarter campaign as well! And please – wish us luck!
🙂
