I’m still here! Sorry for the radio silence this week. I’ve been working hard on several projects that are all being released in the next few days:
Sunday: Blog Redesign! I’ve talked about this on and off for a while, and I made preliminary changes a couple of months ago, but in three days the Fashionista Lab will have a whole new look! And after Sunday, I will resume a regular posting schedule.
Monday: If you follow me on Twitter you may already know about a huge project I’ve been working on with a couple of other bloggers. The past two weeks have been consumed with sourcing videographers, doing storyboarding, scripting, and filming a video! On Monday we’re officially launching the project.
Tuesday: SF Fashion + Tech, a new organization that I’ve wanted to introduce on my blog, promotes, supports, and facilitates the development of businesses, organizations and products at the intersection of fashion and technology. I’m part of the team, and I’m helping launch the first newsletter that goes live on Tuesday.
SF Fashion + Tech is hosting a holiday mixer Thursday, December 8th at John Colins. In partnership with Google Places, enter to win a $200 Barneys gift card! Click here for details and to enter. Winner will be announced during the mixer.

Even with all these exciting projects I still make time to go out. Last week I was lucky enough to attend a very special event at Coach: a book-signing party with Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Glenda Bailey, celebrating the release of her new book, Harper’s Bazaar: Greatest Hits.
(Thanks Melissa, for taking the photo!)
Glenda was a delight! So friendly and charming, nothing at all like a Devil Wears Prada-esque magazine editor. AND: She looked at me and said I was “the real deal”. Definitely the highlight of my month!
