San Francisco has been having lovely weather lately, and the Sunday of the Capsule Design Festival was no exception.
I wore my tasseled elephant earrings in part because I get tons of compliments on them, in part because I wanted them to be a good luck charm. I found them at the Dose Market in Chicago and I hoped they might help me find another pair of cool and unique earrings.
These shoes are a major success story. By Surface to Air, they were way out of my price range when the first came out in time for spring and summer. I watched them online all spring and summer and some mark-downs here and there, but they were still too expensive. Finally, a few weeks ago I saw that they had been marked down twice on SSense AND I had a coupon code for 30% off, so finally, at about 80% off the original price they became affordable. And I snapped them up!
Speaking of success stories, after making multiple laps through Capsule’s maze of vendors, taking everything in and trying to figure out what I wanted, I found a cool and unique pair of leather earrings by Mahoohoo.
The pair I have are black, and I’ve received compliments on them already. The elephant earrings worked like a charm! After the Mahoohoo earrings, my second favorite product from Capsule would have to be the Cubes & Corner bowls.
Designed by a grad student (in design school) who had no dining table, he created these bowls so that you could eat anywhere and not make a mess. Genius!
