Yesterday’s Thread Show was such a cool experience! As a “live stylist” I was backstage styling looks on a new model every 30 minutes. The first crew came in, we did a look, they left to go on display; then another group came in, we dressed them, sent them out, and had about 7 or 8 minutes while the first group was getting their photos taken. Then the first group came back, we styled them, sent them out, the second group went to photos, etc. In total we each did 6 models. All the blogger stylists backstage were really friendly, and I enjoyed seeing the different looks people put together. I was running around too crazily to photograph my models, but I’ll share those photos when I can get my hands on some. For now, here’s what I wore. Note: I thought the live styling was happening on stage, so I dressed the part.
I did not expect to be on my feet for 3+ hours straight. If I did, I probably wouldn’t have worn 4in heels. My feet were definitely feeling it by the end, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as it could have been.
The view from the 4th floor City Room at the Metreon was incredible.
