The November Anthropologie is a Trip

But not down “memory lane”. It seems that mind-altering chemicals came into play when they were tossing around ideas for the catalog. If nothing else, the production staff is certainly adept at Photoshop.

(The opening image, it took me a few minutes to find the item that was actually for sale. Note: the floor pattern is a re-occurring theme.)

In this catalog we also took a trip to the petting zoo! Alert: major cuteness ahead.

(This bunny rabbit is so cute I can’t stand it!)

Can you imagine how much fun this photo shoot was?! Although I wonder how they kept the animals from pooping on all the pretty things. Which photo shoot was your favorite?

Love the Jasper look-a-like: a sheep.
As for the poop issue, they can Photoshop that out too.
If this was their first catalog, this would’ve been nuts. But seeing that we all know what to expect from Anthropologie, this is completely normal! Kind of like waiting for ice cream in a 30 minute line in San Francisco – completely normal! I do love the products, as per usual. I especially love the dress with the top hat, and think that would be fabulous on Adelle!

yes, that sheep could totally be a stand-in for Jasper 🙂 I’ve been looking at the Anthro catalogs for a while, but still thought this was nuts!

i was determined actually to not like the anthro catalogue. everyone always makes such a big deal about them and i’m not crazy about the clothes because everything seems too out there with the patterns and big whimsical stuff hanging off the sweaters. you know what i mean?
THAT SAID. the animals totally and completely stole my heart. those photos are amazing and i’m getting ready to plaster them on the walls in my office (maybe).
    kind of funny, huh.

I was thinking the same thing! (about putting the cute animals up on my wall).
