Traveling light: plan ahead

It can be stressful to have to decide in advance what to wear every single day of a trip, but it’s far better to do that in the comfort of your home than to find yourself dissatisfied with your choices and stressed out mid-trip. Earlier I presented step 1 and step 2 of my strategy for successful packing. Here’s my last tip:

3. plan ahead for specific events. Think about your activities and choose the appropriate outfits. And it’s vacation, so don’t forget to have fun with it! During my trip I had a wedding, a graduation, and a few other special events including a Sex and the City 2 party (opening night!). I wore each dress only once, but continued to reuse accessories.

(Wedding, graduation)

I agree! I generally attempt to pack basic wrap or sheath dresses and an add cardigans, wraps, blazers, or accessories for a different look. I’ve found this to be one of the easiest and best ways to pack!

Yep, the plan ahead is so important … and the one I always dread doing. Somehow I think if I just throw in a bunch of random clothes into my suitcase, they will magically become outfits when I take them back out.

I think most women to relate to this post. I must admit, i really have issues when it comes to packing because i always want to take everything. I mean, even staying over at a friends for a weekend is a problem because i pack half my wardrobe haha

You look great in all these outfits, and as i mentioned to you before on twitter, your hair is just amazing!

P.S thanks for following me back on twitter 🙂
