For online coverage of Fashion Week my favorite site is at New York Magazine. They have a large section devoted to fashion with lots of cool interactive features, and an up-to-the-minute blog (the Cut) for all things fashion news. Their slideshow feature is the best I’ve seen so far. The pictures are the largest, and you can vote for which looks are Hits and which are Misses, the results are compiled into a slideshow. It’s really satifying to vote for a Hit and see that 90% or agreed with you; likewise it’s a relief to vote for a Miss and see that a lot of people agree with you as well. But the funnest feature of all? You can make your own Look Book! I’m still figuring out to learn this feature, but so far I have albums with my top looks from New York Fashion Week, my favorite dresses, and my favorite separates.
*Note, because of technical difficults Chado Ralph Rucci wasn’t included in any of the albums, but so far he’s one of my favorite designers of the season. You can find his show here. Also due to technical difficulty the “favorites” albums don’t include anything that I saw between Thursday and Sunday.
You can find more Fashion Week coverage at Style.com, the New York Times, the Daily Candy Dossier, Fashion Week Daily, the Wall Street Journal, and WWD.com.
