HAPPY NEW YEAR!
And ps: I’m still alive.
I’m very much looking forward to getting back on the blog. The past 6 weeks were so crazy I felt like I had zero time for anything. The week before Thanksgiving my brother was in town. Then I solo-hosted 8 people for Thanksgiving dinner; the following week at work was crazy and I worked overtime all week. And then that left me 2 weeks to pack up my apartment and move to a new place, AND prepare for a 2 week trip to Asia! I moved on December 16th, left on the 18th, and returned on the 30th! That’s the cliffs notes of the past 5-6 weeks.
Things will probably change a little bit, around here. For one, even though I’m (still) living with roommates, I have free reign to decorate! So I’ll probably bring in a bit more decor. My main new year’s resolution is to be more timely about uploading photos when I go on a trip. So I’m working on that. But in the meantime, check out my Instagram to see photos from my trip.
And I kind of always say this to myself, but now I’m saying it publicly: there are so many blog posts that never get done because I don’t feel like they’re perfect or fully fleshed out. My WordPress dashboard is a graveyard of blog posts that never were. So this year I’m really going to try to put ALL of my ideas here, because that’s what this blog is for!
