While in Truckee last weekend I found an amazing antiques store called Sipes. For some random reason I seem to have caught a “nesting” bug. I’ve been looking at more home décor sites, and plotting home improvement hacks for my apartment. So walking into Sipes I was like a kid in a candy shop. An expensive candy shop full of very heavy things. But so beautiful! Everything I liked was between $1200-$2600, which actually seemed reasonable given the crazy amount of detail and quality, if I were in the market for such things. If you plan to head to Tahoe this season be sure to stop over in Truckee and check this place out!

One more thing – I want to call out, and apologize for, the steep drop in posts these past couple of weeks. After over a year of being self-employed and unemployed, I’m still adjusting to having a new job – and commuting daily down to Mountain View, at that. With holiday craziness the next few weeks probably won’t get better, but I have soooo many ideas and things I want to do, and I’m looking forward to being back on track (and better than ever) in the new year.
