One of the things I love most about weddings is how they bring people together. This weekend a dear college friend is tying the knot, and as an added bonus, several college friends are coming in for the occasion. What’s on deck for the weekend: the first friend arrives Friday, and that night we’re going to see a friend of mine VJ for Battlehooch at the Great American Music Hall. A bit of headband bling is just the thing to have a rocker chic evening. Saturday morning we’re all brunching with the bride before her rehearsal at one of her favorite spots, Mission Beach Cafe. I haven’t yet tried the detachable collar trend, but brunch with friends seems like a safe space to try it. Then Sunday is the big day! Cute yet danceable heels will be imperative at the reception.
