I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but sneakers – high tops, more specifically – are mounting a comeback. I’m vaguely aware that Isabel Marant’s sneaks have had a cult following for years, but for me there’s an even clearer signal that sneakers are having a serious moment: their very own high/low collaboration. For Missoni to shack up with Converse, you know something is going on. Also, are we still calling them high tops, or is there a trendier term for that now?
