A Divinely Starry Night

This is the dress I bought at last year’s Discarded to Divine gala, Starry Night by Coral Castillo. D2D, as we call it, is amazing because designers take leftover clothing from the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s helpdesk and transform rags into beautiful pieces. We’re talking bottom of the barrel here – things people have given away that homeless people don’t want. This is my third year volunteering with D2D, and every year I’m blown away by how exquisite these pieces are. In fact, I already have my eye on a few things going up in this year’s auction. Read on to find out how you can get in on the action.
