Treasure Island: the Flea Market

Sunday I went with my friends Sam and Becca (one half of Free Honey) to the Treasure Island flea market. It was a gorgeous day to be outside. And the view of San Francisco from Treasure Island is incredible.

North of the city the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island were clearly visible, but my camera didn’t pick it up so well.

The name of the game Sunday was “If I had a country house…”

Although we did find some cool, non-country house items too. Like tutus!

These cute cards,

And the BEST find of them all, Iris Apfel glasses!

Part of me dearly wanted them, but I wasn’t sure what I would do with them. As sunglasses they wouldn’t be nearly as interesting, and as a contact lens wearer I’m not into putting on glasses. So I left them there, but I did get the seller’s contact information in case I have a change of heart.
