A few days ago, on August 24th, my blog became one year old! I had huge plans for my blog in the month of August, but the month escaped me before I could put it all together. Not to worry – they’ll still happen, just on a different time-line:
- More outfit posts: In general I’m horrible about posting photos on Facebook, and that bad habit seems to have extended to my blog. But I want to do at least one outfit post a week.
- New Look: I’ve not been happy with any of the WordPress themes thus far, but I think I’ve finally found one that works for me. Facelift coming soon!
- Pre-Fashionista Lab blog posts: I was blogging about fashion long before I had a fashion blog and I want to share those posts with you. Look out for those posts.
- Project Runway recaps: A new feature I’m trying out, look out for my recaps to get my commentary on the episode and see what my favorite outfits were. And please, share your opinion in the comments!
- Resources for fashionistas in San Francisco and beyond: Come to my Facebook page! The Social Calendar is moving here, as well as sale alerts and other timely tips. Don’t miss out! “Like” the page to get all the latest information.
I wanted to move from wordpress.com to wordpress.org this month, in order to have more control of my blog and use fun and fancy widgets, but transitioning to host your own blog is a lot of work, and I’m not quite ready for that yet. Even so, I’m excited for the impending changes I listed above, and I hope you are too!
